STUART FRANKLIN
THE PROFESSOR
Stuart Franklin is a legendary, British, award-winning Magnum photographer and professor in photography. Over the years, this enormously experienced documentary photographer had evolved his work to reflect more of his cultural personality and personal vision.
Stuart has photographed all over the world and is perhaps best known for taking one of the most iconic images of the twentieth century - a student defying a row of Chinese tanks in Tiananmen Square - for which he won a World Press Award. His work has been published by numerous global publications including National Geographic, The Guardian, The Sunday Times and Harper’s Magazine. Stuart’s recent work focuses on the environment, examining the transformation of climate, landscape, and nature.
