Morten Krogvold is an inspiring, hardworking, energic and generous photographer with a deep knowledge of art and the history of photography. He is a master of portraits and slow photography. His creative projects, characterised by a strong focus on timelessness and the transience of life, can take decades to develop.
Morten is a unique speaker and educator who has held workshops, seminars and lectures in more than 20 countries, directed TV programs and published books. He is especially known for his black-and-white portraits of artists, politicians and celebrities, but his motifs also consist of nature and classical architecture.
One of Norway's most prominent photographers and cultural commentators since the 1980s, Morten was appointed a Knight of the Order of St. Olav in 2005 for his commitment to photography.
